The Berghain resident will play alongside Cassegrain and Tin Man in early November.
Dave Sumner got his start DJing in New Jersey and New York almost thirty years ago. In his time he's been a resident at clubs like Limelight and Berghain, releasing music and mixes on labels like Sandwell District, Ostgut Ton and the rebooted Infrastructure New York (the imprint he runs with Inland). That label, dedicated to the goal of to releasing "techno with classic foundations and modern aesthetics," put out a 15-track compilation, Infrastructure Facticity, earlier this year.
Collaborators Cassegrain and Tin Man had two cuts on that one, coming off of a 2015 EP for Infrastructure called Window Window. Both of those acts will play separately on the Union bill, Cassegrain spinning records and Tin Man performing his signature acid sound live.
