  • Sunfall, the London festival from the teams behind Phonox and Dimensions, will return to Brockwell Park in August 2017. The first edition of the one-day event ran in July, with Ben Klock, Omar-S and Jamie xx among the acts. Next year's festival will take place slightly later in the summer, on Saturday, August 12th. The format will be the same, with the daytime session followed by a string of affiliated afterparties in clubs around London. No acts have been announced so far. "London needs a festival that lives to support underground music, London needs a festival that considers the quality of sound to be of paramount importance and London deserves an event that aims to highlight the best of London's music culture which is why we’re bringing back Sunfall for a second year," says Sunfall cofounder Noah Ball. "Musically we are very focussed, we know what we represent and we know what we don't. Areas at the festival such as the record fair and the Knowledge Arena really show where our passions lie." Read our feature on last year's edition, which includes recordings of sets by Mister Saturday Night, Bradley Zero and Sassy J.
