Portland outfit New Information has put out a two-cassette compilation called Styles For Relaxation.
The two-hour tape album features a wide array of young electronic artists from across the dance music, ambient and experimental spectrum. The label itself says that the release "was not designed to promote a brand or represent any sort of scene or movement. It is released without a label and exists solely for fun and mood-inspiration."
Among the highlights are People's Potential Unlimited artist Moon B, Further boss Raica, Canadian producer RAMZi (collaborating with Vancouver's D. Tiffany) and Madison, Wisconsin's Golden Donna, who also mastered the collection. 100% Silk affiliates Akasha System and Cherushii also appear, as does 1080p's Body-san, Japanese producer Aquarium and Unknown Mobile.
