- They've also announced the debut of a new seven-piece band, which will tour in 2017.
Soulwax have released a new track, "Transient Program For Drums And Machinery," via their website.
The Belgian band hit the studio again this year after a ten-year hiatus, kicking off 2016 with a 16-track soundtrack for the film Belgica. This summer they also released a single with American actress Chloë Sevigny. Now they're back with new material that coincides with the announcement of a ten-stop European tour starting in March of next year.
The string of dates will see them perform with a new seven-piece band that includes brothers David and Stephen Dewaele as well as Stefaan Van Leuven on bass guitar and synth, plus three drummers and Laima Leyton playing synth and doing backup vocals. It kicks off on March 30th in Zurich, then heads to Germany for a couple of gigs followed by Paris on April 3rd. Next is Amsterdam's Paradiso and Luxembourg, Lille and London. They'll close out the tour with a stop in Manchester and one more hometown gig in Brussels.
