The nominations for the 59th Grammy awards have been announced.
Winners in each category will be announced on February 12th, 2017, in a ceremony at Los Angeles' Staples Center. The nominees for Best Dance/Electronic Album are Flume (Skin), Jean-Michel Jarre (Electronica 1: The Time Machine), Tycho (Epoch), Underworld (Barbara Barbara, We Face A Shining Future) and Louie Vega (Louie Vega Starring...XXVIII). Flume's also up for Best Dance Recording, as are former Breaking Through subjects Bob Moses (for "Tearing Me Up.")
Elsewhere, Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool is up for Best Alternative Music Album, while Joe Goddard's remix of The Chemical Brothers is one of six nominees for Best Remixed Recording. The video for Jamie xx's "Gosh," directed by Romain Gavras, is in the running for Best Music Video.
