Native Instruments has updated its Maschine Jam hardware controller.
The Maschine Jam made waves back in September as a tool for quickly building track ideas and its ability to jump between NI's software environment and DAWs like Ableton Live. CDM reports that new updates have tightened this integration, especially for users of Bitwig Studio and FL Studio. Bitwig collaborated directly with NI to create a new control script based around the DAWs open Controller API, allowing users to control the Maschine VST and Bitwig Studio simultaneously, while FL Studio support now includes its own dedicated Maschine Jam template for step-sequencing out of the box.
