Palto Flats and WRWTFWW Records are giving the 1983 LP a re-release this year.
The LP, which was originally released by RCA Japan, has become one of the most sought-after records from the fertile mid-'80s era of experimental Japanese electronic music. The reissue is being handled by two record labels: Palto Flats, which reissued Mariah's Utakata No Hibi album in 2015, and Swiss outlet WRWTFWW Records (which stands for We Release Whatever The Fuck We Want Records.)
There will be a single vinyl LP version, cut at 33rpm, and a limited double-vinyl LP, cut at 45rpm. The album, which was sourced directly from the original master tapes, will also be made available on CD for the first time. Takada will tour Europe this year in support of the reissue, with dates confirmed in Copenhagen, Glasgow, Amsterdam, London and Ghent.
