  • Timothy J. Fairplay will release his first full-length via Pinkman subsidiary Charlois on February 20th. Fairplay works out of a Scrutton Street studio in London alongside Daniel Avery, Scott Fraser and Andrew Weatherall. He runs the Crimes Of The Future imprint with Fraser and plays in The Asphodells with Weatherall, but he's carved out his own style of analog-based production via release on labels like Emotional Response, Tusk Wax and his own Centurians Of Rome along the way. The new one follows a 2016 Charlois 12-inch from Fairplay, My Etherealrealness. The label says the forthcoming LP finds him "cruising the highways and byways between proto-techno, horror disco and forlorn wave." Listen to clips from Where Is The Champion?
