Four pop-up events are planned in the new 44,000 square-foot space near Prospect Park.
The newly built four-floor space is on Flatbush Avenue, just across the street from Prospect Park in Brooklyn. An initial round of four events will feature live performances and DJ sets alongside "meditation and healing lounges, art galleries and installations, interactive technology VR experiences, an herbal apothecary and film screenings." Their aim is to showcase "music, art, wellness and technology as catalysts for innovation and impact."
The series of pop-up parties will lead up to the launch of The Sonic Jungle as a permanent venue in 2018—one that will also house artist residencies and a co-working space. The launch party is later this month, with Navid Izadi of Wolf + Lamb as well as Clarian, Sabo, Lemurian and two of Red Light Radio's residents who are in from Amsterdam, Philou Louzolo and Hugo Van Heijningen.
