  • Roland has updated Roland Cloud—a subscription service for music production tools—to include new software instruments. The service, which launched last year, gives producers access to a number of virtual instruments in return for a monthly fee of $19.95. They rolled out an update this week that includes a few new synthesizers, among them the Jupiter-8 and Juno-106—two of the most sought-after synthesizers ever made. There's a software version of Roland's more recent AIRA System-8 synth, and adaptations of the AIRA System-1, SH-101, System-100, Promars and SH-2. There are also two "Anthology" instruments based on the D-50 and Alpha Juno, as well as an acoustic piano and a collection of "bite-sized instruments" called Flavr.
