Harry Klein's female-only Marry Klein series will return this month.
The club uses the series to raise awareness about the gender imbalance in electronic music. It has exclusively booked female artists to perform and host workshops, which cover topics such as Ableton, VJing and DJing. A range of house and techno artists have been locked in for DJ slots, with Dana Ruh, Oshana, Magdalena and Monika Kruse among the dozens due to spin. JD Samson, best known for her role in Le Tigre, will also play.
Marry Klein was first held in 2006. It returned in 2007, only to go on hiatus until 2014. It's now held annually, and includes a visual arts programme, discussions and film screenings.
