- The LP will land on his label Fractal Fantasy next month.
Sinjin Hawke's First Opus is due out on May 10th.
The Barcelona-based producer has kept it relatively quiet on the release front since his debut EP in 2011. He and frequent collaborator Zora Jones put out an eight-track compilation via their label, Fractal Fantasy, in 2015, which featured collaborations with L-Vis 1990, MikeQ and DJ Taye. He's also had a few one-track singles recently, including cuts with DVA and American rapper Gangsta Boo.
His debut album, due out on Fractal Fantasy next month, is defined by "orchestral intricacy" and an "obsessive attention to detail," the label says. He references Timabaland and Just Blaze as influences on his style, as well as "modern cinematic technique." A few of the tracks grew out of experiments he devised while working on Kanye West's most recent album The Life Of Pablo, where he appears as a co-producer on the track "Wolves."
