Mark Barrott's International Feel label will release an album from Los Angeles artist Scott Gilmore this June.
Subtle Vertigo is Gilmore's first album. The label describes it as a "mixture of Gainsbourg pop, Library Music and yard-sale electronics with a quirky sense of melody and atmosphere." Barrott says he was turned onto Gilmore's music by the people at Dublab, the LA-based radio station that is moving to the FM dial later this year.
International Feel recently released an album from Talamanca System, the collaborative project of Gerd Janson, Phillip Lauer (AKA Lauer) and Barrott.
