- Raica, Baltra and You're Me contribute to the triple-cassette set, which supports the LGBTQ Center of Durham.
Rvng Intl. will release an ambient compilation called Peaceful Protest today at Moogfest.
The North Carolina festival asked Matt Werth's Brooklyn-based label to soundtrack a meditation space on its grounds. RVNG took things a step further, pulling together a reflective compilation protesting the state's regressive anti-LGBTQ laws. HB2, the infamous "bathroom bill" limiting transgender access to restrooms was recently repealed and replaced by HB 142, a new state law that still fails to provide protections for North Carolina's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community.
All proceeds from the sale of Peaceful Protest, which includes long-form pieces from the likes of Baltra, Kate NV, You're Me and Raica, will go to the LGBTQ Center Of Durham. The limited edition will be sold at Moogfest this weekend as well as RVNG's NYC storefront, Commend.
