  • Moog has a new analogue synthesiser called the SUBSEQUENT 37 CV. The new synth is limited to 2000 pieces, with the first 125 being built onsite at Moogfest this weekend. It's a redesign of the Sub 37 Tribute Edition, which was originally built to honour the legacy of company founder Bob Moog. It could run in mono or duo modes, had two modulation bussess and loopable envelopes, all of which feature in the SUBSEQUENT 37 CV. The main point of difference is increased connectivity, with four CV outputs and two assignable gate outputs added for integrating with Eurorack modular systems. The signal path has also been upgraded. The mixer section boasts double the headroom of the Sub 37 while alterations to the gain-staging of the Ladder filter makes for added analogue saturation and compression. The keybed and headphone amplifier have also been upgraded. Each unit is hand built at Moog HQ. The first 125 units are available at Moogfest and from Guitar Center.
The Moog SUBSEQUENT 37 CV is available now for around €1849.
