  • Radio Slave's Rekids label is releasing "Wulfman," a 2016 track from ZW, alongside three new remixes. While information about the project is scarce, ZW appears to be a collaboration between producer Zeb Wayne and singer and songwriter Zineb Zebdi, also known as Ziwi. The low-key pair were first heard through the ethereal, pop-inflected sounds of two 2016 singles: Wulfman, seemingly self-released and featuring two reworks from Radio Slave (real name Matt Edwards), and the limited-edition Float seven-inch for Rekids, which came with a hint that the duo's debut album would land in 2017. Further details of a ZW full-length have yet to be announced, but next month sees Rekids giving "Wulfman" a wider issue, augmented by what looks like a new, ten-minute-long Radio Slave remix and interpretations from longtime German experimental producer Alva Noto and Belfast-born favorite Calibre, the latter of whom granted RA a rare interview earlier this year. Edwards also recently revealed his first Radio Slave album is due out in September, with a preceding EP coming later this month. Meanwhile an EP of remixes of his 2014 record "Children Of The E" is upcoming on Running Back. Listen to the original "Wulfman."
Tracklist A1 Wulfman A2 Wulfman (Alva Noto Remix) B1 Wulfman (Calibre Remix) B2 Wulfman (Radio Slave Remix) Rekids will release Wulfman on July 14th, 2017.
