  • The composers of the Stranger Things theme have been awarded a Creative Arts Emmy. Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein were given the award for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music at the un-televised leg of the 2017 Emmy Awards in Los Angeles last night, one week ahead of the televised award ceremony. Dixon and Stein's one-minute theme was one of dozens of synth pieces written for the show, which has been nominated for a total of 18 Emmy Awards. The Creative Emmys, which focus on technical achievements, are a precursor to the main Emmy Awards, taking place on September 17th. The second season of Stranger Things hits Netflix on October 27th.
