  • J. Albert has released a charity album called No Hay Alegria Sin El Campo to benefit the Puerto Rico recovery effort following Hurricane Maria. The New York City producer, who is Puerto Rican, announced the album via Facebook. "A great majority of my extended family calls Puerto Rico home," he says. "The lack of aid and resources provided by our system hurts, but the complacency of our President kills us and now it's personal. Help me help them." All proceeds from the album, which is available on Bandcamp, will go towards the charity Fundos Unidos. Albert, real name Jiovanni Nadal, resides in Brooklyn and runs the Exotic Dance Records label with Person Of Interest. Stream the album below.
