- Positive Approach is out via Drawing Room Records in November.
Matt Werth (of RVNG Intl.) and Brian Close and Justin Tripp (of Georgia) have made an album as Digital Release.
Positive Approach is the American trio's debut release, and it consists of what Drawing Room Records says are "deep psychic-technology sounds... Think My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts as if conceived by Chris and Cosey."
The album was recorded in an "unhinged" two-day session of improvisations. It's the first time the three have all recorded music together, but they've collaborated in other forms in the past.
Werth runs RVNG Intl., a label known for its reissues of obscure electronic pioneers as well as new music from the likes of Bing & Ruth and Visible Cloaks. Close and Tripp, meanwhile, have been making experimental music together for the past ten years, scoring releases on labels like Palto Flats and Meakusma.
Watch the video for "Great Baws, Great Baws," which features improvised dance by Elle Erdman & Jess Cook.
