- The six-track release is out in December.
Visible Cloaks are releasing a new mini-album called Lex.
The six-track release sees the Portland duo return to Rvng Intl., the label that released their acclaimed album, Reassemblage, back in February. In keeping with that record's Fourth World themes, Lex, which will be available digitally and vinyl from December 8th, features a garbled language created by passing various types of speech through a translation algorithm. "The result was a very disorienting form of non-language that amplifies the lapses in meaning that occur with the inaccuracy of auto-translation software," explains the group's Spencer Doran.
