- The Basic Channel man has released a white label 12-inch with two new remixes.
DDS has just released two Equiknoxx remixes by Mark Ernestus.
The prolific Berlin-based producer took a swing at two tracks from the Jamaican duo's breakthrough album, Bird Sound Power, which landed in RA's top albums list from last year. The resulting remixes, as Boomkat puts it, are "among his strongest post-Basic Channel works." It's the first new music to come from Ernestus since his EP with Nigerian brass band Obadikah, which came out on Honest Jon's just about a year ago.
