- It's been eight years since The Knife's Karin Dreijer Andersson last released a solo LP.
Fever Ray's website has been updated with a video clip that appears to tease new music, Pitchfork reports.
The clip, "Switch Seeks Same," is soundtracked by what seems like a new song from Karin Dreijer Andersson's solo project. It's full of BDSM imagery and includes text that reads, "It's been eight years and much has been learned and unlearned. Eight years of defeat and growth, eight years of caring and being cared for, eight years of loving and being loved." The text is a reference to the eight years that have passed since the last Fever Ray album, which came out in 2009.
This year, The Knife released a live album, as well as a film and a photo book about their last tour.
