- Canty rooted through the label's archives as part of a new series celebrating its upcoming 100th release.
Finders Keepers has released a new compilation put together by Demdike Stare's Sean Canty.
Probes Volume 1 is the first in a series of compilations celebrating the label's 100th release. Canty was given access to the Finders Keepers archives for this first one, exploring the darker side of the label to celebrate October's "horrific hat trick" of "a full moon, a Friday the 13th and Halloween," according to the label. The ten-track collection, which is digital-only, features work from Suzanne Ciani, Pierre Henry, Bruce Ditmas and more.
Canty is already a close affiliate of Finders Keepers—he helps run the sub-label Dead-Cert alongside Andy Votel and Doug Shipton.
