Esteban Adame and Total Stasis will also join The Black Madonna, Laurel Halo and Tropic Of Cancer for this weekend's events.
We've added more artists to the program for our first Community Connections series, which happens in Los Angeles tomorrow through next Monday, December 3rd.
The venerated ambient musician William Basinski will be joining us for a live Exchange interview at our free Saturday afternoon event, which also includes a talk between The Black Madonna and K-HAND and a roundtable featuring local promoters. Esteban Adame will debut his new Frequencia project as part of our NTS takeover Friday Morning, a three-hour radio show that also features Sudan Archives, Leaving Records and Bianca Lexis. We also have the mysterious figure behind Total Stasis—an LA-based label responsible for releases from the likes of Elysia Crampton and CS + Kreme—on DJ duties for our Monday show with Laurel Halo at Zebulon.
One of our main events is Friday's RA x Far Away party at El Cid, a limited-capacity, $5 event running from 10 PM through 2 AM. We're keeping the lineup under wraps, but we have a mix from the duo behind Far Away, Jen Ferrer and Cooper Saver, to tide you over.
