Joe Claussell will release a track on Brownswood Recordings next month.
It's a nine-minute remix of "Yambú," and features vocals by the Cuban artist Daymé Arocena, who's released several 12-inches and albums on Gilles Peterson's label. The track has appeared at least twice before. It was remixed last year by Daisuke Tanabe and Yosi Horikawa for Peterson's Havana Cultura Anthology. A version of it also surfaced on a Japanese edition of Arocena's 2017 album, Cubafonía. "Yambú (Sacred Rhythm Mix)" is out January 19th.
