- The German producer's next LP is a double 10-inch that comes with a comic book.
A new album from The Exaltics, Das Heise Experiment 2 will arrive at the end of the month.
Coming through the Solar One Music label he helps run, Das Heise Experiment 2 is the sixth album for The Exaltics, AKA German electro and techno producer Robert Witschakowski. (It's a follow-up to 2013's Das Heise Experiment LP.)
We first got wind of it last summer with the release of Das Heise Experiment 2 (The Prequel), a 12-inch picture disc featuring an appearance from Drexciya member Gerald Donald's Rudolf Klorzeiger alias. Klorzeiger is also spotted on a track for the new album, which comprises 12 cuts across two 10-inch records, and which is set to come packaged with a Solar One-penned comic book. Dutch visual artist Godspill, who designed the Prequel picture disc, was called on again for a cover illustration.
We're told to expect a "world of aliens, scientists and distant galaxies" on Das Heise Experiment 2—listen to clips at Clone for an idea of what that might mean.
