- The Manchester-based producer will release Album Desconhecido in a couple weeks.
Príncipe's first release of 2018 is an EP by 22-year-old producer P. Adrix.
The Lisbon label describes P. Adrix as a Lisbon native of Angolan descent, now living in Manchester, who's got a "soft spot" for drum & bass that grew out of an obsession with kuduro. Album Desconhecido, which spans nine tracks, is said to be filled with "fierce, techy, twitchy grooves" across its roughly 22-minute duration. (There's also a bonus tune on the digital version.) As usual for the label, Príncipe cofounder Márcio Matos is behind the cover artwork.
