- The Colombian experimental artist unites minimalist electronics with spoken word and song on the new LP.
Next up on RVNG Intl. is an album from Lucrecia Dalt.
Anticlines, which pairs abstract electronics with Dalt's own voice, has a strong conceptual bent. The Colombian producer found inspiration in a range of material, from Amazonian monster myths to Martian meteorites, as well as her own background as a geotechnical engineer.
RVNG Intl. characterizes the LP, which was recorded mainly with a Clavia Nord Modular and a Moogerfooger MuRF, as "a volume of bodily and geological substrates within poetic theory and sound." They describe the live performance that she's developed for this body of work as a kind of "alienated lecture."
