  • Ikonika and Luke Abbott will both release albums of library music in March. The project was commissioned by EMI Production Music, a subsidiary of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, and its publisher, Domino Publishing. Ikonika's 16-track submission, which spans dub, hip-hop and electronica, was produced with TV and film in mind. The same goes for Abbott's 15-track LP, though that skews more sci-fi electronica and "avant-garde ambience," according to EMI. Abbott used an alias, Carl Lozito Jr., for the project. The two full-lengths, both titled The Library Album, land digitally on March 9th. Listen to Ikonika's "Where Is Your Wife?" and Carl Lozito Jr's "Lost In Space."
