- The LPs, produced with TV and film in mind, will be available digitally from March 9th.
Ikonika and Luke Abbott will both release albums of library music in March.
The project was commissioned by EMI Production Music, a subsidiary of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, and its publisher, Domino Publishing. Ikonika's 16-track submission, which spans dub, hip-hop and electronica, was produced with TV and film in mind. The same goes for Abbott's 15-track LP, though that skews more sci-fi electronica and "avant-garde ambience," according to EMI. Abbott used an alias, Carl Lozito Jr., for the project. The two full-lengths, both titled The Library Album, land digitally on March 9th.
