Word has come out of Soma Records and H-Foundation management confirming the sad rumours. Sadly, Halo and Hipp-e will no longer be recording together as H-Foundation. The recording duo, who released great tracks such as "Passage Of Time", "New FunK Theory", "Tonight" and recent longplayer "Environments", have decided to call it a day. It seems there are no hard feelings, simply a fork in the road for two amazingly talented DJ/producers.
Halo has conceded the H-Foundation name and future appearances to Hipp-E, so the name H_Foundation may be kept alive in some shape or form in the future. The guys will also continue their current tour schedule until the end of the year as they just had their first number 1 single in Europe.
Halo has chosen the new year as the date which he will make the break. Hipp-E and Halo are both excited and looking forward to new attention to their solo productions and appearances.
The next H-Foundation single will be released shortly on Soma, a highly limited blood red vinyl 10", "Slayin' The Dragon", due out October 27.
