- The UK producer's fourth full-length is out in late April.
Matt Karmil's next album is on the way via Smalltown Supersound.
Will is the fourth LP from Karmil, a UK-born, Cologne-based studio engineer and producer of sparse, experimentally-tinged techno and house. The album is said to be influenced by Wolfgang Voigt's acclaimed ambient techno project GAS. Karmil himself describes it as being made up of "samples [that were] usually heavily processed and decontextualized," with eight tracks forming one continuous piece.
The Smalltown album follows a 12-inch for the Norwegian label, 2017's Can't Find It (The House Sound). He's previously released two albums on PNN (---- and ++++) as well as one, IDLE033, for Idle Hands.
