RVNG Intl. has brought British producer and composer Oliver Coates on board.
The New York label hinted at the new relationship with Coates, who is also a cellist, with its first-ever Record Store Day release, interpretations on John Luther Adams' Canticles of the Sky. Expect a follow up to his 2016 album Upstepping on the way.
Coates has also recently worked with Mica Levi on their joint album Remain Calm and Jonny Greenwood on the score for Paul Thomas Anderson's 2017 film, Phantom Thread.

Oliver Coates will be on tour over the next months, including several dates in Europe with Thom Yorke, Red Bull Music Academy in New York on May 11th, a night at London's Cafe OTO performing Laurie Spiegel on June 5th, and a stop at Jazz Cafe with Jan JelinekSeptember 27th in London.
