- The Totality is the second full-length for the Texas artist.
Gavin Guthrie is linking up with Medical Records to put out his second album, The Totality.
The Dallas-based DJ and producer, also known as TX Connect, will be bringing his gritty analog sound—which reflects a love of electro, EBM, house, horror film soundtracks and more—to Seattle's Medical Records for the first time. He put together nine tracks for The Totality, which lands in July on double-vinyl.
Guthrie's first album, Gavin Guthrie AKA TX Connect, came out through Crème Organization in 2014. The past couple years have seen him start a label, Texas Recordings Underground, that spotlights his own music along with tracks from other artists based in the Lone Star State.
