  • Rian Treanor's next release is the vinyl-only RAVEDIT, out today on The Death Of Rave. Treanor debuted on the Boomkat-affiliated imprint back in 2015, and after a second appearance in 2016, the UK artist returns to the label for a batch of edits in his signature abstract style. For this one, he reworks Pakistani dance music, Eurodance and synth pop. A press release refers to the edits as "disruptive," noting their polarizing effect in a recent Boiler Room set. One commenter remarked, "what do you call this cos it aint music its like a production that went wrong or still trying to figure out the beat," with another dubbing Treanor a "genius with rhythm." Listen to samples at Boomkat. RAVEDIT follows Treanor's well-received debut on Warp sub-label Arcola, Contraposition, from earlier this year. Check out our Breaking Through feature on Treanor. Tracklist 01. RAVEDIT 1 02. RAVEDIT 2 03. RAVEDIT 3 04. RAVEDIT 4 RAVEDIT is out now on The Death Of Rave.
