- The LP is out through Donato Dozzy and Neel's label in September.
Aimée Portioli, AKA Grand River, is releasing her first album in September.
Pineapple reportedly draws on the Dutch-Italian artist's "love of electronic music and sound design, as well as her background in traditional composition and formal training," incorporating ideas from her work in scoring films. It's Portioli's second release on Spazio Disponible—the label run by Donato Dozzy an Neel—after an EP last year, and her third record overall. The album is called Pineapple because it is "just as peculiar" as "the most peculiar of fruits," according to the label. Earlier this year, Portioli earned acclaim for her ambient Blowing Up The Workshop mix.
