Friction Intimate returns for 2004 this Saturday January 10 with special guests UK breakbeat duo the Stanton Warriors. This is the second ever Friction "Intimate" gig, with Dave Seaman playing the first one in late 2003. The concept behind the night is to take a massive act and put them in a small and intimate venue so that people can see them up close and personal. Think "big name DJ, little club".
The gig takes place at Lot 33. Tickets are $25 + bf presold, with a small number still available at Landspeed Records and Stocks. This time around Friction Initmate are offering a limited number of tickets on the door but you must be early to avoid disappointment.
The Stantons have been playing blistering breakbeat sets around the country over the Christmas-New Year tour so catch them before they head home!
