US Album sales up

  • Filesharing is certainly a buzz word amongst many music professionals, DJ’s, record labels and more all noticing the recent downturn in CD sales and placing the blame firmly on the growth of this technological concept. In good news however, Album sales were up 10 percent in January in the US. Labels have suggested that the increase is due to lawsuits against file sharers and CD pirates. With so many grey areas on the subject, one wonders what will happen in years to come with music downloads and file sharing programs.
