Monthly night, Kinetik, have gone the big one for their April party. International guest, Alex Patterson from “The Orb” will be playing at Kinetik on Good Friday 9 April at Deep 11.
Alex Patterson is an old skool grand master of tech-electronica and part of the group, The Orb. This Kinetik party will be an intimate club gig where you can see him up close and personal as he plays a 2 hour DJ set of burbling beats in his own formidable and unique style.
Both levels of The Mercat X will be open on the night. Also playing will be local act “Psyburbia” (Black Hole, Matsuri) casting live aural magic in the super comfy Upstairs Atrium Chill-Out Zone. Downstiars will be KinetiK resident DJ’s Heath Myers, Shane Ford and Aaron Smiles in support of Dr Alex in the basement, with a blend of deep house, dirty beats, crunchy prog and squelchy electro.
Tickets can be bought at the KinetiK party at DeeP 11 on Saturday 13 March, allowing you to avoid booking fees and receive a free piece of vinyl. After that tickets are $30 via email [email protected] or $30 (+BF) from DMC and Central Station Records from Monday March 15. Ticket numbers are limited, so get in fast.
