  • Each year in Melbourne, techno fiends know they will get a huge fix with the traditional Hardware party featuring overseas DJs and producers. This years things are changing, and Hardware have opted for something a little bit special and a lot more intimate with Telephunk V1 featuring Dave Clarke (UK). Taking place on Good Friday 9 April, TelePhunk will fuse techno, electro and Detroit classics. Special guest Dave Clarke is a techno/electro master with a huge back catalogue including the “Red” series, “Electro Boogie” on K7!, “FUSE pres. Dave Clarke” and his “World Service” MIX CD on React. Mixing, cutting and scratching his way to fame, Clarke is right up there with Mills, Hawtin and Garnier as one of the world leaders. His new album, “Devils Advocate”, has just been released and includes collaborations with the likes of Chicks on Speed. Playing alongside Dave Clarke (UK), will be Telephunk residents Ben Cromack and Rich:)e Rich, as well as local guests Dave Pham, Simon Coyle and Simon Digby. The party will take place at The Prince of Wales, and being an intimate affair there are only 900 tickets available for the show. Get your ticket for $39 +BF from www.hardwarecorp.com.au, or for $42 +BF from Ticketek, Central Station, Inacoma, Ministry of Style, Strange Days or all Mooks stores. This one will sell out so jump to it!
