Jason Bye is playing at special 3 hour set at Kink this weekend. Starting his career at Café Mambo, Jason has 10 summers in Ibiza under his belt, holding residencies at Manumission, Cream, Amnesia, We Love Sundays @ Space, Home @ Space and Café Mambo where it all began. Voted 'Favorite Ibiza Resident DJ 1999’ Jason has played alongside almost every major DJ including Carl Cox, Roger Sanchez, Sasha, Sven Vath, David Morales, Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Nick Warren, Seb Fontaine and Dave Seaman.
When asked what to expect from Jason Bye, he said “Mainly uplifting, but very focused. It’s not always happy-uplifting, more aggressive-uplifting – powerful drums and bass-lines, classic vocal stabs and keeping it at a certain level without too many breakdowns. Giving the unexpected but making sure there’s a connection with the crowd, I like to get dirty with the sound but also keep the people dancing”
Kink is at the Artehouse, Pitt Street, Sydney. Tickets are $25.
