  • After a slight break due to random uncontrolable computer behaviour, the regular Friday radio update returns with a bang! And not too soon as the internet seems to be swarmed with solid and varied shows.
    protonProton Radio Kicking things off this week, Proton Radio's Plexi Sessions is hosting one of the biggest live electronic acts in the business today. Amid a worldwide tour promoting their upcoming album release, Australia’s Infusion will be special guests on the show, which will have many fans tuning in to hear the lads doing their unique brand of electronica. The show starts on Friday at 8pm (EST) and is the definite highlight of the week. On Saturday night, look out for Frying Pan starting at 6pm (EST). Hosted by Canadian talents, Tyler Stadius and Jay Tripwire, who continue to carve out a niche in the tech side of things and increase an already large fan base. BreaksFM For fans of all things broken, tune into BreaksFM this Saturday to catch Elite Force’s show. With many breaks and progressive DJs supporting their sound, including James Zabiela who incorporated their 'Peyote Road' on his latest highly acclaimed 'Alive' compilation, the program will showcase a spectrum of breakbeat sounds. Things get started on Saturday night at 19.00 (GMT). radio1BBC Radio 1 This weekend’s Essential Mix will feature the progressive sounds of one of the world’s best female DJs. Sandra Collins will be Tongy's special guest this Sunday morning providing listeners with the latest and favourite tunes making waves in USA clubland. Those familiar with her recent mix for the 'Perfecto Presents...' will know exactly what’s in store when the show kicks off at 1am (GMT). Digitally Imported Digitally Imported's special guest this Saturday will be one of dance music’s favourite DJs and producers, John '00' Fleming. Appearing at New York City’s Avalon, the show will be broadcast live with a video stream from 12.15 am and finishing at 4am (U.S. EST). If you’re in the NYC area, get on down to the club otherwise tune in to hear and see all the excitement. MOSMinistry of Sound Last but not least, and new to the Ministry of Sound schedule is Cool Cuts. Compiled by a cross section of DJs and producers, the show is a countdown of the latest and best new tracks doing their magic in clubs at the moment. Hosted by the legendary Graham Gold, the show is featured on Mondays starting at 16.00 (GMT).
