  • This weekend will see some distinctively Brazilian flavour taking over London as a new night begins to coincide with the 1st ever One-day Brazilian Football Tournament, Peladao Junglee, being held at London's Regents Park (Gloucester Green/Gloucester Gate entrance) Forty Degrees will be hosted by Michael Biggs and celebrate the diversity of London culture with Biggs sating “all tribes are welcome to be part of our DNA gang". Confirmed are DJs Ady Harley & John Armstrong (Sunday Club / Flamingo) along with DJ Cliff. The music looks to be a blend, with a distinly South American flavour:
Forty Degrees will host two rooms of music including the Brazilian Lounge and Latin Quarter. Musically Forty Degrees aims to blend the traditional Brazilian music alongside the contemporary Latin and current dance sounds with the use of DJs and live bands. Showcasing a different theme each month, Forty Degrees aims to stimulate all the senses and pay homage to all the arts that have a Brazilian flava or link. On the opening night you can catch Trio Azevedo & Pororoca in action alongside DJs Fernando Dias and Fabricio in the Brazilian Lounge. Meanwhile in the Latin Quarter Room you can check out the steamy fusion sounds of DJs Cliffy, Lucia, Gonzalo and Ariel”
As the Official Awards Ceremony and After Party to the football, Forty Degrees launches with a massive football theme, including huge screens playing the 5 Brazilian World Cup Finals and Brazilian dancers. After the launch there's a flip flop extravaganza on 11th September, then parties on the first Saturday of each month.
