One of Melbourne's favourite breakbeat DJs has started a new Friday night residency. Lynt and Matt Radovich are now playing downstairs at Lounge every Friday from 10pm. They're offering a nice warm up to your Friday night with a cosy and stress-free environment, no musical boundaries, just good tunes and great spot to relax with a drink.
Lynt will be providing breakbeat on an upbeat tip, bar style to keep things moving nicely and ears interested. Matt Radovich is a musical wanderer and crosses genres playing whatever he feels like across hip hop, funk, jazz, and electro. Entry is free, and the Lounge is located on 243 Swanston St in the CBD.
If you're heading down Prahan way, Lynt has also just been offered a weekly spot at Revolver starting next Saturday, 11 September, playing alongside Melbourne legend DJ Ransom. Catch him there in the front room on Saturday night from 4am to 7am for some deep and rollin breakbeats and whatever! They don't call it the Late Show for nothing!
If you're looking for a Thursday night outing then there is always Lynt's long time residency and weekly spot, Skylounge at the Black Cat, 252 Brunswick St, Fitzroy. Here the vibe is breaks on the deeper side with a chilled out atmosphere. Lynt, Hahn and Lucas Chan play each week. What a busy lad Lynt must be, toting his records all over this city!
