The Fall Collection, apart from being the first compilation since the Ovum Sampler release back in 1997, is a tribute to the past decade of the Ovum Records sound.
This new CD, set to hit shelves October 11, is a great evolutionary snapshot of Josh Wink's label, and includes some of their best releases to date. In speaking about the history of the Ovum Josh said "I love the fact that Jeff Mills and Erick Morillo can both play our records" - it is a tribute to both the respect and quality of the label since it's opening.
And in answering the question of his proudest moment from the last 10 years he goes on to say it is "where we are right now; having survived. Yeah, there's low points, especially concerning the music industry, but this is a labour of love."
