The fifth release for Brighton-based Variation Recordings comes from Danish producer Rune featuring Morten Luca with the sweet vocal cut ‘Nothing New’ Many of you will be familiar with Rune from his recent pseudonyms including Rude Rkade (Underwater) Heavy Rock (Southern Fried) and Artificial Funk (Skint/ Multiplex/ Disco Wax/ Brother Brown). As Rune he released one of 2003’s summer anthems, the haunting sax led ‘Calabria’ which proved a massive hit with the likes of Tong, Sanchez, Lottie and indeed, the whole Ibiza set.
With a series of top productions and remixes under his belt, Rune now joins Variation Recordings - Steve Mac and Nick ‘MYNC’ Corelli’s label ‘Nothing New’ is out on November 15.
