In Melbourne the Cup Eve parties mark the start of the annual silly season, jam packed with parties through to the Australia Day weekend in January. For those who love an outdoor party, the first lineup announcement for the Big Day Out 2005 has been made!
At the next BDO tour you can expect to see the following headlining artists appearing at all shows: Beastie Boys, System of a Down, Chemical Brothers, The Music, The Streets, The Donnas, Freestylers, Powderfinger, Grinspoon, John Butler Trio, and Concord Dawn. Artists appearing at selected shows in Australia will be: Eskimo Joe, Infusion, Butterfingers, Little Birdy, and Dallas Crane. Artists appearing at selected shows in New Zealand will be: Misfits of Science, The Bleeders, Trinity Roots, D4, Steriogram and Shihad (formerly known as Pacifier when they were chasing the US scene, now back to their Kiwi roots!)
The tour schedule is shown below. Tickets on sale now for $103+bf for the Australian shows and NZD $103+bf for the New Zealand shows. Hit the Big Day Out website to get your tickets online.
