It’s not every day Sasha Tours Australia, if we’re lucky it’s once a year. But he has just completed the two primary gigs on his tour, promoting the recently released Involver Album with Global Underground.
First up it was The Greenwood hotel in Sydney, where he not only provided a great evening but rocked the outdoor stage at the Sounds on Sunday event, with a fine selection from his very collection of productions. Supporting the sellout set was Robbie Lowe, among many others, one of Sydney leading upcoming progressively focused DJs, for the night which overall featured some great responses. On the other hand, the Melbourne promoters, which booked Sasha to lay it down on the Cup Eve (Melbourne Cup Eve that is… Horse Racing donchaknow), sounds like it takes the cake. With two of the countries most highly held DJs, Phil K and Kasey Taylor, helping with the flow of music and providing, alongside Sasha the foundations for a great night really set things down for Sasha not only to relax and enjoy his set but for some reason, made good use of one of the RA cards... by stamping it on his forehead (go figure, but the photo is comical to say the least).
