Tickets for Barcelona's International Festival of Advanced Music and Multi-Media Art are now on sale. If you don’t know Sonar, (where have you been for the last 12 years?) it’s the festival for beautiful Balearic people and Londoners who wished they lived in Berlin. As well as reliably featuring sun year on year, the festival has a strong reputation for showcasing innovative sounds.
Last years program featured a mix of new hip hop, techno and electronica, as well as new media exhibitions and industry workshops. It’s also a magnet for eclectic satellite shows scattered all over Barcelona. So for those without daddies frequent flyer miles grab the credit card cause flight prices are starting to climb.
Sonar runs 16, 17 and 18 June 2005. A general pass is roughly 110€ (3 days + 2 nights) while tickets for Sónar by night are 40€. Tickets are available online at www.ticktackticket.com
