Running into Steve Gerrard became a regular fixture for us during the Winter Music Conference. We saw him at parties, on the Miami streets and stuck (like most people) outside the Ultra Carry On with the nazi-like security guards holding the NBA fortress. His perspective is somewhat different to the likes of Carl Cox, Danny Howells and Hernan Cattaneo as he played at some great parties at some of the more obscure venues during the Miami WMC and seemed only to spend time in his hotel room to change his oh-so-soft t-shirts.

In recent years Hernan Cattaneo's tour diary has hit something of a peak with an almost maxed out number of gigs lined up. One of the key parts of his annual tour schedule is the Miami Conference and playing at some high profile parties. This year proved to be no exception, from his 5 hour set at our Resident Advisor night at Spin to Perfecto's Friday night at Crobar, culminating with an unplanned (due to late opening times and sound problems) back-to-back set with James Zabiela at Ultra Carry On.
