The undisputed king of breakbeat in New Zealand, Timmy Schumacher, is headed to Australia once again. As well as a DJ, Timmy is one half of the production outfit Baitercell & Schumacher, who are starting to make a name for themselves outside of NZ with releases on Aquasky's Passenger label in the UK, and in the US on DJ Icey’s Zone Recordings and Sharaz's Nine Four One label. Asked what releases B & S have been working on for 2005, Timmy had this to say:
"Well a large part of this year has had a lot of local focus with the release of our album "The Wall Of Bass Technique". It's been real fun working on it - specially some of the more hip hop and down beat stuff on the album. The album comes out in Aussie in the next few months so keep your eyes peeled!"
